Classy Shoes

F/11 @ 1/60

In my Product Lighting Class in Summer semester 2009 we were given an assignment to shoot a pair of shoes in the studio. I used a Speedtron pack with a Ferrel light. The Ferrel light was slightly slanted to allow the light to go across the shoes more. I shot this image with a Mamiya 645 on Kodak 160VC C-41 film.

    I love the composition and the light. The light got in to every corner and highlighted all of the features. Nice work. Nice soft shadows.

    Sam I LOVE this image. The overall image is a beautiful advertisement. The only thing I would enhance is the texture with a little more side lighting.
