Macular Dystrophy


Macular dystrophy is a rare genetic eye disorder that affects the central part of the retina. The macula is where we have our key central vision. So this is how we read, drive, etc. Those with macualr dystrophy have trouble doing these things becuase of this vision impairment.

This is a photo of a patients left eye that has macular dystrophy.
